About Me

I am an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor located in the greater Sacramento region of Northern California. I specialize in working with children and adolescents. I utilize mindfulness- and contemplative-based approaches with all ages.

I currently work with K-12 students with special needs through Sierra Child and Family Services in El Dorado county. I also see students through their school-based Wellness Centers. Additionally, I see clients at the Counseling Col:lab in downtown Sacramento.

I am also an independent, interdisciplinary researcher. I have published on equity in higher education, and presented internationally on contemplative approaches to teaching future counselors.
